Friday, September 05 2008 -- SHINE and Sunshine for Seniors Volunteer program

The West Central Florida Area Agency on Aging seeks volunteers in Hillsborough, Hardee, Highlands, Manatee and Polk Counties. SHINE and Sunshine for Seniors volunteers provide individual assistance to elders and their caregivers concerning Medicare, Medicaid, long-term care planning and prescription discount drug programs. They also participate in public health fairs and in other outreach events.
