In 2005 the St. Johns River near Jacksonville spewed up algae that turned the river a deadly phosphorescent green. Bill Retherford of PRC Digital Media in Jacksonville presents his 30-minute documentary on The Green Monster/Red Tide issue at a public screening and forum, 7 p.m. at the St. Petersburg Times Auditorium in downtown St. Petersburg.
