Friday, September 12 2008 -- Applications open for in-school mini-grants

If you are a classroom science instructor, you can apply for a Splash! mini-grant through the Southwest Florida Water Management District. The project needs to focus on water quality, natural systems, water conservation, alternative water sources, flood protection or watershed management. SWFWMD also offers training workshops, speakers for classroom presentations, and educational materials to teachers in public, private and home-schools.
