Actor-Comedian Richard Belzer on "Talking Animals"

Our guest on "Talking Animals," August 6, at 11:30am will be actor-comedian RICHARD BELZER, who's now serving as a spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America.

Headquartered in Port Washington NY, the North Shore Animal League America is the largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization in the world, and Belzer is the frontman for their new national adoption-oriented campaign hooked to the Presidential election...which, for these purposes, is dubbed the "Paws-i-dential Year," urging Demo-CATS and Republi-CANINES to adopt from animal shelters and rescue organizations.

A veteran comedian and star of "Law & Order SVU"--and featured earlier this summer on "Last Comic Standing"--Belzer's a real animal guy, rarely going anywhere without his adopted dog, Bebe.
