Gr8ful Ed / Dead Head Ed

Hey Now !!! Born in Connecticut, grew up on the Jersey Shore, and came to Florida in 1975. Tuning in to NYC and Philadelphia radio stations was a good thing. Al those Motown, British and Pop tunes on the AM stations (Cousin Brucie) and discovering the magic of FM radio (WNEW, WMMR) soon after. First discovery in Florida was Quad 102 and a 1/2, WQSR. Wasn't long before I met Dave Hill who told me about a station that played bluegrass, the music of India, and my favorite 60's music. I discovered WMNF in 1980, and started contributing music in 1983 to the shows of Steve Goodman and Dana Gilmore.

It is so cool that we can gather every Tuesday; and share our music together as we cover a lot of musical ground. Acoustic and Pickin',Blues,Spacey Jams,60's Pop, and always some Good Old Grateful Dead; and all those bands and artists that we know and love. Join our gatherings and let us know what we can play for you. (and listen to "In The Groove" jam band show right after "The Freak Show")
